How Are Water Filters Effective?

Water filters effectively remove impurities from water, making it safe and healthy for consumption. They use a physical or chemical process to trap or remove contaminants from the water. A water filter's effectiveness depends on the filter type used and the specific impurities it is designed to remove. For example, activated carbon filters effectively remove chlorine, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and sediment, while reverse osmosis filters effectively remove dissolved solids, heavy metals, and nitrates.
